BSE Robotics from the University of Michigan:
I have just finished my undergrad studying Robotics Engineering and plan to pursue full time employment before coming back for graduate education in a few years time.
Research
Over the past year I had the pleasure of working in the Barton Research Group where I worked in the groups smart manufacturing test bed to integrate a Spot robot into the test bed. You can find my write up of the project here.
Teaching
Robotics 102
Over my four years in undergrad I worked as an instructional aid and course developer for the robotics department on and off depending on need and class offerings. The main focus of my work was an intro course I took as a freshmen and enjoyed so much it solidified my want to major in robotics. If you would like to see a demo of a project from the class I worked on check out The Final Project and to learn more about the class visit hellorob.org
The Mbot Project
While most of my time was spent developing code for ROB 102 and its specific needs. Many of the classes of the department use and participate in an open source ecosystem of robots called “Mbots” which I had the pleasure of building the class architecture on top of as well as contributing one or two PRs along the way. For more info you should head to the docs and the github project
